Let’s dive into “Protective Actions” – what are some of the key things you do in this stage?
This is often a critical juncture where we need to act swiftly and decisively. Depending on the situation, we may file for restraining orders or protective injunctions against abusers. We also work closely with Adult Protective Services (APS) and law enforcement to report suspected abuse and neglect. In cases of financial exploitation, we can help freeze accounts, revoke power of attorney, and prevent further unauthorized transfers.
